I’m Kaley, the voice behind Kindred Compass, a travel blog born out of my endless love for adventure, discovery, and storytelling. As a native Texan with a passion for curating unique travel experiences, I wear a few hats: travel storyteller, planner, creator, and professional photographer. I’m a hopeless romantic with a love for fairy tales, folklore, and a big imagination—which is probably why I’m so drawn to exploring new places and capturing the stories they tell.

I’m also an avid reader, especially of fantasy and romance. If I could be anywhere in the world, it would be Ireland. It’s my favorite place, deeply tied to my heart, and my dream is to one day live in a little cottage by the sea, frolicking through fields in the Irish countryside.

I’ve traveled across Europe, but genealogy is another true passion of mine. I’ve planned ancestral trips to Norway and Ireland to reconnect with family and explore our roots, and I’d love to help others experience that same sense of connection.

One of my future goals is to blend my travel services with my professional photography business, helping couples plan their destination weddings while documenting their special moments. For me, it’s all about weaving together the things I love—travel, stories, and capturing unforgettable experiences.
